This week’s artist: ALXIA
Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, ALXIA is a singer, songwriter, and musician. Although Alexia captures most of her creative fuel from films, her biggest musical inspirations are Peter Gabriel, Fiona Apple, Arctic Monkeys, and The Beatles. ALXIA’s persona is driven by an element of mystery that leaves the listener with their interpretation of the music. She believes this is one of the most beautiful parts of art as a whole; that the relationship one has with a piece of art can be starkly different from someone else’s.
